staff no doubt spend a lot of time on coaching and mentoring
activities. But are you getting the most you can for the effort

to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) 78% of
businesses use coaching in one form or another. However, the same
survey found that few organisations have formal strategies in place to
guide their activities.*
Moreover, in 69% of cases, companies were asking staff who were not
accredited, certified or licensed to perform coaching duties, and 54%
of staff were neither rewarded nor recognised for their role in
coaching.
Yet coaching is seen by over 90% of businesses as a positive tool
rather than one used for remedial intervention.
And so, too
often, the money, time and effort put into coaching has little
long-term effect.
What
is the solution?
The
Institute of Leadership and Management has recently introduced Certificate
and Diploma programmes in Coaching and Mentoring and
TCLuk Training has launched two new and exciting programmes
in coaching and mentoring. There is no quicker or more cost-effective
way to give your staff coaching and mentoring skills. We offer training
that will give companies qualified coaches amongst their staff in as
little as two weeks.
We
offer two qualifications:
- Level 3 Certificate in Coaching and
Mentoring
- Level 5 Diploma in Coaching and
Mentoring
The
Level 3 qualification involves 25 hours of classroom study and 6 hours
of practical work. This can be completed in a three-day intensive
seminar in the first week, with the practical work carried out in the
second. Of course, it can be spread over a longer period as well.
The
Level 5 qualification involves 45 hours of classroom work, plus an
assessment and 12 hours of practical coaching.
To
